The Bow is the city’s tallest building and Canada’s tallest tower outside Toronto.
The tower is south-facing, curving towards the sun to take advantage of daylight and heat, while maximising the views of the Rocky Mountains.

The base of the tower includes shops, restaurants and cafes as well as a landscaped plaza. The office floors are punctuated by three six-storey sky gardens and enclosed walkways which encourage natural ventilation.

These feature mature trees, meetings rooms and cafe spaces, with an additional auditorium at the top of the building.
Nigel Dancey, senior partner at Foster & Partners, said:“The tower’s form was shaped by the unique Calgary climate […] Every aspect, from the raised floors to the diagrid structure, is designed to be highly efficient.
