“HEAVY METAL” SHOES / Bryan Oknyansky

Most fashion and shoe designers are usually either born to families with a strong designer background or have been fascinated with the industry since childhood. However, that does not mean that only such people can excel and contribute stunning creations to this very competitive field.

This is what up and coming designer Bryan Oknyansky has come to prove. An architect by profession, Bryan Oknyansky has been designing buildings for different organizations before he had a new calling.

He was actually highly respected in this field, too, as he was sought to speak during several conferences, not only in the US but also in other countries such as China, the UK, and Russia. His fame in architecture, however, did not stop him from sharing his out-of-the-box visionaries in other field. With boosted vigor, he sought to conquer a new industry, and thanks to “Sole Perspective,” America’s first shoe design reality show, he was able to do it.

Now, Bryan Oknyansky is not only continuously designing infrastructure but actively promoting his shoe collections as well.
