Alchemy is a collection of accessories developed with .

MGX by Materialise for their First Fashion Show with 3D designs.

The Fashion Show featured works of Daniel Widrig, Elvis Pompilio and Niccolo Casas.

Alchemy is about the process of transforming something common into something special, it was a science merging chemistry, medicine and magic.

Materialise made the process of transmutation real making its 3D printed technology so sophisticated to become similar to magic. In fact, it was Arthur Clarke who said “any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable magic.

” Alchemy is also the result of a specific study on flexibility made possible thanks to 3d body-scanning technologies and prototype experiments.

The collaboration with technology consultants at materialise, made possible create a series of accessories so flexible that the same item can fit more than one size letting the person feel totally free to move.
