mexico-based architecture studio mmx has developed 'no precedent installation', a specific project for the arnold and sheila arson galleries at parsons the new school for design in new york city.© mmx architects
the exhibition engages with the gallery space allowing us to express our work much better than traditional models and boards.© mmx architects

the intervention modifies the gallery context by interacting with it through an interface that creates an anonymous backdrop in relation to the rest of the exhibit.© mmx architects
a room within a room, visitors can calmly sit and reflect upon the context, the new container and its contents are materialized.© mmx architects
acknowledging the fact that the
space will be filled with visual content from the various architectural firms, a small confined space was created to be perceived as neutral piece from the exterior,
although it could still be walked through.© mmx architects
once inside, the writings explaining the office`s philosophy of work can be found, becoming the installation.© mmx architects

for material, paper is used because it can easily be compressed by folding simple geometrical patterns, and again gain volume when stretched.© mmx architects
