A Farewell to the king of Italian design / Sergio Pininfarina

The automotive world has suffered a terrible loss on the night of Monday, July 2, 2012: Sergio Pininfarina died.

The famous designer, builder and entrepreneur was born in Turin in 1926 and died at the age of 86 years in his own home in Turin.

Pininfarina has always distinguished itself as a body careful to offer solutions at the forefront of style, yet with an almost obsessive attention that is dedicated to aerodynamics.

Pininfarina has signed many models, from the most luxurious and sports (Ferrari, Maserati, etc.

), Until you get to drive economic and for all.

For example, the old Alfa Romeo 164 and Lancia Thema Station Wagon had been designed by Pininfarina.

Two other models really beautiful and that marked an epoch are the Fiat Coupe and Alfa Romeo GTV.
