A complex differentiated surface loops through the space defining the different areas of the exhibit whilst becoming support for the students' 3d printed models of their proposals.

The surface is partly self-supported and partly suspended from the ceiling.
© 2012 p i n u p s p a c e The structure seems to be composed of modules generated by looping and intersecting plastic sheets into a figure-eight configuration, each module connected to the next at at least one point.

The same base module repeats across the whole surface but is differentiated in scale and orientation based on it's position and function of a particular region of the surface (exhibition surface/canopy).
