on the southern side, the volume of the primary school, over two levels and partially buried, defines the limit of the school and operates as an acoustic barrier that protects it from the noise generated by a neighbouring highway.

on the northern side, the pure volume of the gymnasium blends with the existing auditorium building, redrawing the school's entrance square.
